Shipping and returns

Where we ship: Worldwide, tracked. Allow 10 to 25 working days from dispatch, wherever you are. Free over 75 euro, otherwise a flat 6.90.
The Halloween cut off: Order by 22 September to expect delivery before the 31st. Items are ordered in and dispatched within 1 to 3 working days, then take 10 to 25 working days in transit. Order later than that and it may well arrive after Halloween, which is why the date is stated here rather than buried.
Getting hold of us: Email [email protected]. One address for orders, returns, sizing and anything else, answered within a working day. There is no phone line.
Duties and taxes: Orders inside the EU ship duty paid. Orders outside the EU may attract import duties on arrival, which are the recipient's responsibility.
Returns: 30 days from delivery on unworn items in original packaging. EU customers keep their statutory 14 day right of withdrawal on top of this. Return postage is paid by the customer, and the refund goes back to the card once the parcel is with us.

Garments: The halter, the shorts and the shirt run true to size. Size up if you are between sizes or want a looser drape. The knit is cut big on purpose and has its own note below.
Measurements: XS 81 to 86 bust, 61 to 66 waist. S 86 to 91 bust, 66 to 71 waist. M 91 to 97 bust, 71 to 76 waist. L 97 to 104 bust, 76 to 84 waist. XL 104 to 112 bust, 84 to 91 waist. 2XL 112 to 122 bust, 91 to 99 waist. 3XL 122 to 132 bust, 99 to 109 waist, in centimetres. The same chart opens under the size buttons on every garment page.
The halter: Cut close and fitted through the bust with adjustable neck ties, so it accommodates a wider range than the size label suggests. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one.
The shorts: High waisted, fully lined and with no stretch, so they hold their line and do not forgive. One size covers both halves of the two piece, so go by the waist measurement if it puts you in a different size from the bust, since the halter has the ties to make up the difference.
The shirt: Camp collar, boxy through the body and meant to hang open over a tee. True to size for that. Take one down if you plan to wear it buttoned.
The knit: Cut oversized on purpose, with a dropped shoulder. Size down if you want it to sit normally, stay true if you want the one from the film.

The Willow: It is made to break, and broken resin has edges. Snap it away from your face, over a surface, and keep the halves away from small children and animals. Not a toy for under 14s.
Flammability: Our garments meet general apparel flammability standards, but no costume is fireproof. Stay well clear of candles, lit pumpkins and fire pits.

How payment works: Payment is taken by Stripe on their own hosted page. Card details never reach this shop and we never see a card number. Orders are recorded against a Stripe payment reference, and the confirmation is emailed to the address given at checkout.
Who makes this: Veltren is an independent shop run by fans of the film. We design and ship everything here ourselves. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed from Focus Features, the film's producers or any other rights holder; the film's title, character names and lines are used only to say what each piece is from.
Privacy: We collect only what an order needs, which is a name, an address and an email, and we do not sell it on. Your bag lives in your own browser's local storage. Payment details are entered on Stripe's own page and never reach this shop, so we never see a card number.
